The revered Shree Hanuman Mandir, located in Kankurgachi, Kolkata, has been a sacred center of devotion and faith for over 50 years. This historic temple, which has been a beacon of spirituality and strength for generations, is now set to welcome a new divine presence.
On 31st January 2025, the temple witnessed the Pran Pratishtha of Shree Shyam Baba, marking a momentous milestone in its divine journey. This auspicious occasion heralds the beginning of a new era of devotion, where the combined blessings of Baba Shyam and Lord Hanuman will continue to illuminate the hearts of devotees with faith and grace.

The Shree Hanuman Mandir was established around 50 years ago by Late Shri Madan Mohan Narera Ji, whose unwavering devotion and divine vision laid the foundation for this sacred place of worship.
In the years that followed, the temple was lovingly managed and nurtured by his son, LateShri Shankar Lal Narera Ji,LateShri Mahesh Narera Ji, and Shri Chandra Shekhar Narera Ji , who carried forward his father’s noble legacy with deep faith and dedication.
Thereafter, the responsibility of temple service and management was carried forward by
Shri Chandra Shekhar Narera Ji, Shri Ramakant Narera Ji, and Shri Ramanand Narera Ji.
At present, the temple’s activities and operations are gracefully overseen by Shri Rama NandNarera Ji, ensuring that the traditions, spiritual values, and divine essence of the Mandir continue to flourish with the same devotion and commitment as envisioned by his revered forefathers.
